Coburg Lions to get a new home at Piranha Park

Argall is proud to announce that alongside Antarctica Architects we have been engaged to design the $11.8M staged redevelopment of the Coburg City Oval (i.e. Piranha Park) for the Moreland City Council.

The project will include a re-imagination of the existing grand stand to house new changing facilities, a retail area and expansive social rooms looking out over the precinct. As part of the re-imagining of the grandstand there are also plans to connect the basement of the grandstand to an underground gym, and medical / treatment facilities to be constructed under an sweeping concourse.

The underground facilities will be formed under a new concourse and external seating area that we wrap around the south eastern quarter of the oval.

We always excited at contributing to public space and building the footprint of Melbourne. We're excited on this occasion as to what can be achieved here as a sporting precinct, and what can also be achieved for the wider community of the City of Moreland.
